1.
Being lifted over the waves, trees misted, a passing daze. Break down at the side of the road. Foods scarce, our passion fades. Side-splitting laugh on the shore. Suns out, hear it’s roar. Bed down in the tent for the night. Work looms, but that’s our life. I’m born a son, but now I see. I’ve worn the sun, outside of me. Now I face it on my own, now I understand, that I was born alone. Out of patience, out of time. Now I know, that fate isn’t blind. Dusk settles on a darkened camp. Smoke flees, the fires out. Dark presses on the door of the ten. Its time, let me in. I’m born a son, but now I see. I’ve worn the sun, outside of me. In the scope of human life, colors fade and lose their light. There’s nothing I can do, except sit here with you.
2.
That scene there, untold. Thy hands are not gold. Move that stone there and dig that tomb deeper. Thy sword sword is unsheathed, it smells our belief. Cast your vote and silence your doubt. My muscles atrophied, in case of disease. Stretch your bones and blessed children’s poems. My country, tis of thee. Sweet land of liberty. In the cold unknown where we grow softer. A ghost, at most. Progressive bounty for our country. It’s less. A golden canopy, where we are family.
3.
In sadness we can understand that dull glow. When living departs us with nothing to show. Cover completely that mystery stain. In shadows, come join us and live day to day. Don’t let me know whose side has been told in the garden. And our eyes are all closed as we march down the road. The dirt on our feet is what is left of the street. As we open our eyes, we are all surprised to find that our Sun has not arrived. I’ll define you when I find you. Even if your moment has passed you by. Missed chances will haunt you the rest of your life. The second you put your feet on the floor. That second is the moment that you're living for. Don’t let me know whose side has been told in the garden.

Idanha 05:58
Put an old tape on from the passenger side. It is The Nightfly. “He’s alive?” Roll the windows up with handle cranks. It is cold, but we’ve gotta drive. Take a slight left at Idaho. There is a ghost there we’ve gotta see. In an old A-frame under Douglas firs, there’s a monster hidden beneath. Before the time of the traders, there is a Sun hanging ‘round our necks. Even now that it is later, there is a gleam coming from our chest. As the dirt trickled down our spade, a shovel would be nice. Accomplishment in the shade. We are in the forest, at last. With our prize discovered and stashed away, point the car at Detroit dam. In the movies we’d be celebrating with as the Sun is setting at our backs. In reality, we are suffocating with the knowledge of our past. Point the car at the edge of the lake and throw that past away, at last. Before the time of the traders, there is a Sun hanging around our necks. Even now that it is later, there is a gleam coming from our chest. As the dirt trickled down our spade, a shovel would be nice. Accomplishment in the shade. We are in the forest, at last.

No Comedown 04:56
We don’t have to do it alone. All God’s Children, need someone to love. You don’t have to tell me twice, and I’ve conspired to wear a smile today. Oh I want to make a difference today. All of my obstacles can get right out of the way. I bid farewell to all my ghosts. No comedown, not even close. Don’t give up that fight. Remember as children, the laughs and the smell of the grass. Life is worth that fight. And all of the tears, and the grief, are part of the light. Oh I want to make a difference today. All of my obstacles can get right out of the way. I bid farewell to all my ghosts. No comedown, not even close.
6.
With the hint of the Sun’s ending. Culture is crashing. And a glimpse of the flame’s sending. Security is melting. And a crest of the cone of light. Hug your family tight. And the core of the Earth ignites. Such a precious sight. I’m sorry for what I posted. I destroyed the Earth. Oh the silence of empty signals and unread data. Because we bought all the hype. And now, the hype is made real. Now we pick through the bones and I can finally speak to someone without finding the need to hide in blinding false blue lights. The shining blue in your eyes reminds me of the wide sea before the sea went red from the remains of the dead. Remind me, what was the web, did it love me? What was the course, where are we going? Earth’s divorce from human kind. We have a life. What’s the course, where are we going? Earth’s divorce, from human kind. We had a life, where is that life? The lights come on, and you knock lightly to remind me it is time for bed. I erase my head and quit my fantasy. I’m not scared. The Earth is laid bare to be judged. After all, we await the call when we will DIE.

Winter comes and it is right on time. The costumed branches alter their course and hide in fright. You say “why don’t you have some fun?” I try to smile and forget the lack of the Sun. On land, I’m on an island. It is almost over for me. Cold silence coming through the trees. It didn’t have to be this way again, but after 37 years, I’ve become a holy ghost in my skin. Cut from the model of Christ. He didn’t have to live with the ice. It has been this way since fall. It is Oregon, after all. Winter comes and its right on time, again. The costumed branches alter their course and hide in fright, again. You say “why don’t you have some fun?” I try to smile and forget the lack of the Sun. How to see the light when there is no light to see. How to feel it’s rays wash over me. Oh God, show me a sign. Push my body out to sea. In the silence, I will be free. Oh Lord, throw me a line. I’ve become a holy ghost in my skin.

Losing It 05:41
Throw the rice over shoulder. Know device below her. Blind to unseen forces. Shine on Earth’s divorces. Lose the stress of pressure. Choose your worldly pleasure. Climb the darkened tower. Find forbidden power. Oh, we are losing it. Still you contemplate her. Life’s great debater. How you spend that time. Work and dying soon. Struggle to make a difference. A speck in the sea of existence. Oh, we are losing it.
